About StoreFriendlyOnDemand

How does StoreFriendlyOnDemand work?

You only need to e-register and select the storage space and book the transportation service, then our transportation team will transfer the storage boxes and anti-opening strips to your designated address at the predetermined date. After packing up, you can book our transportation service. Our team will come and collect your storage boxes on your specified date. Our transportation team will ensure the safety of your belongings in our warehouse. When you want to retrieve the object, just login to your account, select the required storage box you want to retrieve, then we will return your articles in your chosen day.

Service area of StoreFriendlyOnDemand?

Our service area covers HongKong Island, Kowloon and New Territories. Please e-register, we will inform you once our expanding service area includes your district.

What is the business hours of StoreFriendlyOnDemand?

Our transportation team works Monday to Sunday, from 09:00 to 19:00, and off on statutory holidays. Customer service works Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 18:00, off on statutory holidays. If you have any questions after business hours, please email to [email protected] we will reply as soon as possible.

Can you tell me more about the qualifications of the transportation team?

Our transportation team and warehouse management staff are devote and reliable. They passed our rigorous training to ensure the quality of our services. If you have any doubt or complaint of our staff, please call our Customer Service Officer.

Getting Started

I cannot login to my account, what can I do?

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please call our Customer Service Officer. We will solve the problem for you as soon as possible.

How can I browse my items online?

Simply login to our StoreFriendlyOnDemand website from your cell phone or computer, you can browse your storage record easily. After the retrieval appointment, our transportation team will inform you the operating procedures and answer your enquiries.

I do not know how many storage boxes I need for storage. Do I need to pay monthly for the booked boxes which have not been used yet?

Please contact our customer service office at 8203 3111, our officer will analysis for you how much storage space you need.

What does the StoreFriendlyOnDemand box look like?

Our Storage box outside dimension is of 60*40*35.5cm (capacity 56*36*33cm).

Can I send the boxes to to other city or country?

We are so sorry that we cannot provide this service for the time being.

How can I arrange to have the items pick up for storage after packing up?

Login to your account, and follow the instructions. It will be completed within two minutes.

How can I retrieve my belongings after changing my dwelling place?

Each user account can register one address only. However, if the new address is out of service area, please call our customer service officer to sort out the solution for you.

Can you transport my belongings in separate deliveries?

There is no set limits for the number of boxes for transportation. The basic freight cost for each delivery is HK$280 for each contract or $80 per storage box plus additional labor will be charged at HK$50 per 15 minutes per mover. A minimum of 2 movers will be required to move any items above 25kg. We may send 3 movers or more for large moves.

Storing with us

How can I seal the boxes?

Make sure that no items overflow outside the boxes. After the standard storage box lid tightly covered, apply the anti-opening strip in the middle of the square hole at both ends of the storage box. You can add your personal marking on the anti-opening strip.

Is there a limit the on the weight of the box?

The maximum weight for storage box to 20kg. It is likely to exceed the weight limit if a storage box is full of books, and impose additional burden to our transportation team. We will be very grateful if you assign appropriate objects to storage boxes, such as books and clothes in one box, they will fit each other.

Can I use my own storage box for storage?

It is OK.

Can you help me to pack up?

We are happy to provide you with the transportation service, but please understand that because we want to protect your privacy and security that we can not be of your service in packing up your belongings. Please email us your contact detail so that we can recommend to you some reputable moving companies within your area to provide you the required services.

How long can I organize my store objects?

There is no time limit, but service charge is charged on a monthly basis, starting on the first day when customer expert to store goods with the company. Meanwhile, you can take photo of your belongings in order to browse the online storage at any time. We recommend that you prepare in advance for packing up so that you can save a lot of time in actual stuffing of your belongings in the boxes.

Can I only hire your storage boxes and they are not to be kept in your warehouse?

Certainly you can, there will be a monthly fee levied on those boxes automatically.

How do I mark those items and upload those photos of my contents in the items?

Each storage box has its own ID and barcode. You can upload your box name, contents and photos. Wherever you are you can browse your belongings online.

Pack up

After packing-up, sound recording and taking pictures of your belongings, our specially-assigned person will come to collect them for free and transport them to our temperature-humidity-control equipped warehouse. The only thing you need to do is clicking the Button and then we will transport your required storage boxes to your designated address.

About Appointment

Can you wait when I handle my items?

Due to time constraints, we will not be able to wait more than 20 minutes. Please be prepared in advance for the progress in order to save time.

Can I cancel and change the transportation after confirmation is made?

If you need to change or cancel the delivery of the service, notify us at least one working day before the scheduled delivery and before six p.m. Call customer service staff to cancel the reservation. Administration fee of HK $ 200 will be charged when cancellation is applied on the scheduled day.

Will there be any charge if I change my mind returning those booked boxes which are no longer be used?

No problem at all, please advised our transportation team when to pick up those boxes. And please note that $500 will be charged for this one-off service.

The transportation team did not appear in the appointed period.

We are so sorry that our transportation team could not make it. Our team could be late in rush hours. Please call our Customer Service Officer who will inform you of our team's current location and the estimated arrival time.

When to make the advance booking for the transportation service?

Suppose the period you have chosen we can be of service to you, the booking has to be done 2 day in advance before 7 p.m. for the transportation of empty boxes and objects in the boxes. In case of emergency, please contact our Customer Service Officer for the urgent service.

What will happen, if I cannot keep the appointment within the predetermined time?

We will wait for you for 20 minutes meanwhile we will try to get in touch with you. If you still cannot make it, in addition to the original freight, HK$200 penalty charge will be imposed.

About Security

###What items can I keep in the box? And what items cannot be kept? Whether it is clothing, books, records, outdoor gears or any seasonal goods, can be handed over to us! Please note that we do not accept any illegal items, explosive materials, flammable materials, hazardous substances and easy-perishables, fragile items (unless you can ensure that the packaging is perfect), or high-value items. Do not store any flora and fauna, emits harmful odors or any item that may lead to expose to safety risks posed by other storage items.

###Can I be made to know the location of my items? For security reasons, we cannot disclose the specific location of the warehouse.

###Can I visit the warehouse and take out or put in my belongings? For security reasons, we prohibit non StoreFriendlyOnDemand employees to access our warehouse. Our transportation team maintains one-stop service, you do not need to visit warehouse in placing and retrieving your belongings.

What security management system does your warehouse have?

Our warehouse equips with CCTV system and it is not open to the public. We ensure that the items will not be opened by others, and they are guarded under fire, moisture, water and dust control measures.

Will you open my items?

Generally we do not make any surveillance in the items. But in rare cases, if dangerous goods, illegal goods, odor, were suspected being kept inside the items or we are under authorization that we have to open the boxes. Before taking the action, we will do everything to inform you.

If my items was damaged in the transportation, what am I going to do?

Your items are under our extreme care. Each storage boxes are very durable. We will also try to shorten the transportation time of each order. If extreme happens, we will provide liquidated damages and penalty for each storage box can reduce your loss.

Fees and Billing

How much do I need to pay?

Our monthly storage space fee start from HK$488 and HK$38 for each standard storage box, the first contract need a minimum lease period of 3 months then you may renew the contract on monthly basis. Whenever you book for new storage, we offer free transportation of empty boxes as well as pick-up the packed items to our storage. For retrieval service per month, we will charge the delivery charge.

Can I have a less than one month storage?

You have to sign-up 3 months contract for first time, after that you can renew the service on monthly basis.

How do I pay?

You will receive a monthly bill. Your montly fee will be charged accordingly with your registered credit card which authorized StoreFriendlyOnDemand to do so during the booking of storage space.

Will you refund monthly fee on pro-rata basis?

Sorry, we charge monthly fee per storage box. If you end the lease early, a whole month fee will be charged for that month and will not refund on pro-rata basis.

How do I update my payment information?

Our building does not have an elevator, can you transfer the storage boxes to our floor?

OK, but HK$50 will be imposed for each floor.
